"Bear one another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2)
As a family of Christian disciples, St. Thomas More invites every parishioner to help share the mercy and love of Christ to all those who suffer in mind, body, or spirit. "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" says the Lord Jesus (Matthew 11:28).
From the communion that Christians experience in Christ there immediately flows the communion they experience with one another: all are branches of a single vine, namely, Christ. — Christifideles Laici, no. 18
Being united in Christ means that life is shared. We live together the joys and challenges that come with life. We celebrate together, grieve together, and we offer these gifts to others. The Pastoral Care ministries represent a few of the ways we live the compassion of Christ as a faith community.
If you feel called to glorify God by being an instrument of his love we could use your help! Please see the list of ministries and contact a Ministry Leader to get involved.
