Mothers of Young Children Service Project Meeting
MOYC members at our fall service project meeting. We put together gift bags filled with newborn essentials to be distributed to the Gabriel Life Project Center and the Austin Pregnancy Resource Center. Photos on this page courtesy of Marynia Goertz.

The St. Thomas More Mothers of Young Children ministry welcomes, supports, and nurtures soon-to-be mothers and mothers of babies, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.

Our Mission

MOYC was created to provide support from caring and devoted mothers, to share wisdom, build friendships, and offer needed help to one another, all under the guidance of our Catholic beliefs. Our ministry provides support through monthly meetings, mom’s night outs, playdates, and service opportunities. Mothers of all ages, races, and backgrounds are encouraged to be a part of this wonderful ministry.

Meetings

Our meetings typically take place on the second Friday of each month from 9:30 a.m. to noon. We would love for you to join us! Please contact us at least two days prior to our meeting so that we can arrange for childcare of your child(ren).

Per diocesan requirements, each childcare provider has attended the Ethics and Integrity Training and has had a background check. Many of our nursery staff are CPR trained and certified.

Dues

MOYC members pay $25 per year to attend meetings. Childcare dues are $15 for one child and $25 for two or more children per semester. To pay annual dues, pay for childcare, or send a donation click here or contact Melissa Smith (Melkel2@yahoo.com).

You do not have to be a member to attend non-meeting events (mom's nights out, playdates, and service activities) or the February Speaker Event.
