This ministry is a valuable aid to all members of the staff when they have large mailings going out to parishioners. These mailings take place at various times of the year. Volunteers usually gather in the evenings to stuff, attach labels, and seal and stamp envelopes. It is really more fun than work! It is a time to meet new friends and visit with old friends. Occasionally, there will be a mailing prepared during the day, but all the above benefits hold true for these times as well. Mailing can be done in as quickly as one hour or as long as two or three hours.
