Mass Intention Guidelines
For scheduling Mass Intentions or “booking a Mass”, we keep an active “12-month rotation” open for available Masses. That means, for example, when January 2008 ended, we opened January 2009, when February 2008 ended, we opened February 2009, and so on. Mass Intention dates may be reserved by stopping by the Pastoral Office.

Baptism Preparation Classes
In order to offer the best support for parents in preparing for a child's baptism, our parish has a two step baptismal preparation process. This process is designed to help parents understand the sacrament of baptism and to support them in their role of helping their child to fully live the gifts received in baptism.

This process is designed to help parents understand the sacrament of baptism and to support them in their role of helping their child to fully live the gifts received in baptism.
For the First Step of the process, parents meet with a priest or deacon. To schedule an appointment with a priest, deacon, or intern, please contact the parish office at 258-1161 or Theresa@stmaustin.org.
For the Second Step of the process, both parents and godparents attend a baptism class. Baptism classes are held on the first Sunday of each month at 2:00 p.m. in Brennan Auditorium. Parents can schedule a time to participate in the class during their meeting with a priest or deacon.
During the season of Lent, there are no baptisms.
