The Ministry
The Ministry Families of Faith provides a forum for couples with children to share their faith and explore common family and marriage topics in monthly “small group” meetings with other parish couples hosted at each other’s homes.

“Small groups” consisting of 6 to 8 families are formed each September. Couples take turns hosting monthly meetings to discuss topics designed to strengthen your family, marriage and build lasting friendships. Small groups are also encouraged to plan family activities and events to allow their children to form friendships and further deepen relationships within the group.

Several events are also hosted for the entire Families of Faith Ministry throughout the year.

Faith Sharing Topics for September 2007–May 2008
Families of Faith will use faith sharing material designed by the Catholic organization, RENEW International. This material is designed to connect our faith to a wide range of concerns and issues through prayerful reflection, fruitful faith sharing and concrete actions.

This year the theme is Strengthening Family Life: Sustaining and Supporting Family Life in a Hostile Culture. Topics for reflection and discussion include:

2. Varieties of Families
3. Families with Strengths You Admire
4. Families Facing Difficulties
5. Services to Help Families
6. Families Around the Globe

Next Event
Wine and Cheese Social and Registration, September 7, 2007, 7:00–9:00 pm in Brennan Auditorium for couples interested in participating in the ministry or who want to learn more—bring a bottle of wine to share.
