Couples of Faith

We bring married or seriously dating couples closer together and strengthen their relationships through Christ. This ministry is a forum for couples of all ages to form a community with other couples that share the same values and morals. Couples of Faith is an entry point for a couple’s spiritual growth and service to the Saint Thomas More community and surrounding neighborhoods. This ministry is a way to help couples learn to deal with every day challenges in their marriage and learn how to center their relationship around Christ.

Couples of Faith hosts events on the 2nd Friday of each month focused on bringing couples closer together and strengthening marriages. Each month a new topic is discussed to help couples of all ages address the everyday challenges in their relationship. The monthly events make a great "date night" and are a wonderful time to connect with your partner.

Catholic Teachings About This Ministry
One of the goals for Couples of Faith is to implement and live the directives given by the US Conference of Catholic Bishops in their letter "Marriage: Love and Life in the Divine Plan". This ministry is working toward this by providing monthly meetings that feature a specific topic related to marriage and providing the couple with time to discuss the topic with each other.
Helping Out With This Ministry
Each month, Couples of Faith provides an independent topic from the other nights. So, bring your friends or extended family to the next meeting.

We are always looking for new topics and exciting speakers for our meetings.

Meeting Format
Here is a typical schedule for an evening:
  • Gathering and fellowships
  • Welcoming and opening prayer
  • Presentation
  • Group discussion (no one is required to speak; only if you want to)
  • Couple time
  • Closing prayer
